Dr. Jorge-A. Sanchez-P.

Dr. Jorge-A. Sanchez-P. holds a Ph.D.-1996 and a Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering (Dipl.- Ing.-1992) from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA).
In 2005 he contributed to the conception and in 2006 to the establishment of the Hellenic Technology Cooperative Initiative Corallia at the Athena Research Centre and since then he has been its Director of Strategic Planning and Finance.
He has contributed since 2005 to the development of the first in Greece innovative and highly recognizable Microelectronics Cluster (mi-Cluster) and the Space Technology and Applications Cluster (si-Cluster) since 2010, to the establishment and operation of the Innovation Center in Maroussi (Athens InnoCenter) in 2007 and the Innovation Center in Patras (Patras InnoHub) in 2011.
He has also been instrumental in attracting volunteers and sponsors and has contributed to the development of many technology startups and the attraction and establishment of multinationals in Greece.

Dr. Nikos Vogiatzis

Dr. Nikolaos Vogiatzis is Corallia's co-founder and Director of Development and Operations. He holds a PhD in Communications, Electronics and Information Systems, a Masters in Program Management, and a Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Since 2005, he has participated in the start-up and subsequent development of Corallia at the Athena Research Center, focusing on innovation clusters, international collaborations, initiatives to support young entrepreneurship, and Research, Technological Development and Innovation actions. Among others, he is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Cooperative Formation of Entertainment and Creative Technologies & Applications (gi-cluster), member of the Coordinating Committee of the business accelerator egg-enter.grow.go, member of the Executive Committee of the youth entrepreneurship program Be Your Own Boss , and member of the Advisory Board of the European Space Agency's business incubator (ESA BIC Greece).

Dr. Stefanos Capsaskis

Stefanos C. Capsaskis was born in London, UK, in 1958. He is fluent in English and Greek. He holds MA, MEng and PhD degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge. He was awarded Cambridge’s Danckwerts-Pergamon Prize in 1985. He was a Member of the Board of Directors of ProBank SA from 2003 to 2011 and is a Member of the Board of Directors of IOBE.
From 1999 to 2003, Mr Capsaskis was Director – Investments and a member of the Management Team at the Commercial Capital Group (CCG), significantly contributing to its becoming one of the largest private equity/venture capital firms based in Emerging Europe. From 1990 to 1999, Mr Capsaskis worked at the London branch of Ergobank. He was responsible for the establishment of the branch in 1990, and advanced to Deputy Senior Manager in 1993. In 1997 he was promoted to Senior Manager.
From 2003 to 2006, he advised a number of regional corporates on fund-raising and M&A activities. From 2006 to 2020, Mr Capsaskis together with other Principals of 7L Capital Partners had been advising 7L Capital Partners Emerging Europe LP, a fund that they raised and invested in Southeastern Europe.

Dr. George Doukidis
Partner
Giorgos Doukidis is Professor of eBusiness in the Department of Management Science and Technology at the Business School of the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB).
He was a member of the University Council, director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Unit and co-founder of AUEB's ACEin (the start-up incubator). The e-Business Research Center (ELTRUN) at AUEB, which he founded and directed until 2021 is one of the largest in its specialty among European Business Schools. It is staffed by 40 researchers and has successfully completed 50 internationally competitive research projects. His research excellence has been recognized with various international awards such as the European Case Study Award 2009 in "Knowledge, Information and Communication Systems Management" category and the European ECR award in "Retail Innovation with Business Analytics" in 2015.
He holds a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Thessaloniki, an MSc in Operational Research and a PhD in Artificial Intelligence/Simulation from the London School of Economics (LSE) where he taught in from 1982 to 1990. He was visiting Professor at LSE and Brunel University, taught at leading European Business Schools, he has published more than 250 scientific papers and 20 books (10 with international publishers).
He was Chairman of TANEO (Greek New Economy Fund) and vice-President of GRECA (Greek eCommerce Association). During the last 30 years he has acted as consultant in many organizations/enterprises in areas such as business development, innovation and re-engineering, e-business and digital transformation, business analytics.

Nancy Liva
Finance Director
Nancy holds an MBA degree from NTUA and AUEB cross-university programme, a Master in Financial Management from HMA and a B.Sc. in Accounting from the Faculty of Management and Economics of University of Patras. She has more than 15 years of experience in entrepreneurship-support services for innovative SMEs and startups. Her professional record includes project and program management, financial and innovation management. She has co-organized more than 6 open innovation contests such as hackathons. She has previously held positions in private sector consulting firms, supporting key clients engaged in EU co-financing programmes and innovation instruments.

With degrees in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology & Genetics and in Bioscience Entreprise, Angelos has a strong academic foundation. Their professional background includes extensive translational research in cellular and molecular biology, cancer biology, diabetes, and autoimmune diseases, as well as significant experience in venture creation and early-stage startup development in the life sciences and healthcare sectors. Notably, Angelos served as Project Manager for Multiomic Health, an AI-enabled cardiometabolic startup, and Chief of Staff for Exogene, an AI-enabled oncology startup. Orfeas Voutyras

Parallel to Corallia Ventures, Orfeas, works as a senior advisor at Corallia, an incubator, youth entrepreneurship accelerator, and multi-cluster facilitator established in Greece. His primary focus is on activities that support the growth of the Greek space ecosystem and Greek startups by providing technical due diligence and business consulting services. Orfeas holds a Master of Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, where he is currently pursuing a PhD in the same field.
